IIM Trichy Classrooms / Lecture Halls

• All IIM Trichy classrooms have modern AV systems, projectors and smart/interactive display setups where lectures and presentations can ideally be conducted.

• Each of the seven hostel blocks consists of  3 storeys and has 18 rooms on each floor with left and right wings along with a common lounge to one side and a lift to the other. On the other hand, the 8th block is an eight-storey building and has 328 air-conditioned rooms. 

• All hostel rooms are equipped with LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity providing uninterrupted internet access for eyes studies and research.

• Ground floor accommodation is available for differently abled students in specialised rooms with attached bathrooms.

• The central library of IIM Trichy or Learning Resource Centre (LRC) contains an extensive array of physical and electronic resources such as books, journals, magazines and research publications.

• Software support is provided to students for advanced data analysis and management research is available — including tools like IBM SPSS, STATA, EViews, TURNITIN and Decision Tools Suite.

• Library services at IIM Trichy supports check-in/check-out with RFID-based systems for convenience making the resource access smooth and student-friendly.

Even though it is primarily a management institute, IIM Trichy offers modern lab facilities to support coursework and research:

• Food and Daily Needs: There are many small shops and restaurants and a few local markets on the Trichy–Pudukkottai highway for groceries, snacks, and household articles.

• Transport connectivity: One can drive down to the campus, which is about 11 km distance from the city airport; buses, autos and hired transport are available for commuting to the city or neighbouring areas.

• Separate hostels will be provided for married and fellow program students.
