The Association of Indian Management Schools has announced the ATMA exam 2026 schedule for the February session. The ATMA exam date is 22 Feb 2026 and it will be conducted in computer based test format from 2 PM to 5 PM.
The ATMA exam registration process started on 1 Dec 2025 through the official website. The ATMA registration last date for this cycle is 10 Feb while fee payment closes on 9 Feb 2026.
What is ATMA Exam?
ATMA is the short form of AIMS Test for Management Admissions. The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) organises a national level entrance test for admission to management courses namely MBA, PGDM and PGDBA in various b-schools.
ATMA MBA scores are recognised by more than 750 colleges. The test checks aptitude across key areas and is held multiple times a year in centre based online mode at ATMA exam centres. The question paper has six sections covering Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative Skills and Verbal Skills.
ATMA is among the most popular MBA exams. Around 20000 students appear every year and the test is conducted several times annually by ATMA AIMS . The exam was administered five times in February, May, June, July and August of last year.

ATMA Fee Payment Details
Payment Mode - The application fee should be paid online by debit card, UPI, credit card or internet banking.
General Fee - The ATMA exam fees for general candidates is ₹2000 including GST. Concessions apply for women and North Eastern state candidates under ATMA registration fees norms.
North-Eastern States Candidates - ₹1500 after 50 percent fee concession
Women Candidates - ₹1000 after 25 percent fee concession
ATMA Exam Pattern 2026
The ATMA exam papers consist of 180 MCQs. The ATMA exam question paper follows a fixed pattern with negative marking.

ATMA is a nationwide entrance exam for management programs. The ATMA entrance exam is conducted as an entry test for MBA, PGDM and PGDBA courses of various colleges in India.
The Association of Indian Management Schools oversees the administration of the ATMA AIMS Exam. On average it happens four to five times a year.
Applicants are supposed to possess a bachelor's degree of at least 50 percent from a recognised university. Final year students and CA qualified applicants may also apply.
ATMA is an online computer-based test comprising multiple-choice questions. The test lasts for three hours and has 180 questions in total.
The applicants need to apply through the online platform available on the official website of ATMA. The online process involves registration, payment of fees, entering details and selecting the exam center. The common applying fee is ₹2000. However there are fee concessions for females and North Eastern state candidates.
ATMA is an online CBT test and is to be taken at designated test centers. The test is conducted in different cities of India at different test centers.
The candidates are given plus one mark for each correct response and minus 0.25 mark for each incorrect response.
