ATMA 2026 eligibility criteria include graduation completion with specified marks, no age limit and citizenship of India. The applicant must satisfy the criteria for each category separately.

The ATMA entrance test takes place multiple times a year in an online centre based form. ATMA Feb session 2026 will take place on 22 Feb 2026. Prior to submitting an application form a candidate has to ensure that he or she meets eligibility conditions of Exam. If a candidate will be found not eligible at any point of the admission process then admission will be cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria for ATMA 2026

  • Educational Qualification -.The candidates must have completed their graduation degree from any recognised UGC University. Students in their last year of graduating are also eligible to take the ATMA exam.

  • Nationality - Only citizens of India may apply to take the ATMA exams.

  • Minimum Marks Requirement - Candidates must satisfy minimum qualifying criteria fixed by the authorities -

    • General Category - 50% marks

    • SC/ST/PwD categories - 45% marks

  • Work Experience - There is no need for work experience in ATMA. Freshers as well as professionals can apply.

  • Number of Attempts - The ATMA has unlimited attempts. A candidate can appear in the test for as many times as he or she wants and the latest score is taken into consideration.

  • Age Restrictions - The ATMA test has no age restrictions. A candidate can appear for this exam any number of times.

There is no adherence to reservation policies when seats are allocated. But fee discounts are offered -

  • 25% fee concession for women candidates

  • Concession in fee of 50% for candidates applying from the North-Eastern states

ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2026 - College Wise 

SOIL Gurgaon

  • Should have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognised university.

  • Final year students have to submit their final marksheet and degree on or before 1 Oct.

  • Both freshers and candidates with a work experience of maximum three years can apply.

Institute of Management Studies

  • Candidates having a graduation degree and qualifying the ATMA exam are eligible to apply for MBA.

IIHMR University

  • A candidate has to have 50 percent marks in graduation.

  • Students in their last year may submit a provisional application. Such students must submit proof of completion within two months of the commencement of the session.

  • While not necessary relevant work experience is preferred.

Welingkar Mumbai

  • The candidates applying for the course must have at least 50% marks in graduation which should be completed by Jun 2026.

What Happens Next After Meeting the ATMA Eligibility?

The ATMA application form can then be completed online by all qualified applicants via the official AIMS website.The registration for the next session is likely to start in Aug 2026 and the exam is likely to be conducted in Sept 2026.
