IPMAT Indore Overview

The IPMAT Indore 2026 exam is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore for admission into its 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).

The IPM program allows students to join IIM Indore after Class 12 and complete both undergraduate and MBA programs in a single program.

For 2026, the application process has begun from 2nd February 2026 and will continue until 14th March 2026. The IPMAT Indore 2026 exam will be conducted on 4th May 2026 (afternoon session). The exam will be held in a computer-based mode at various centers across the country.

The exam tests students' ability in quantitative ability and verbal ability in three sections: quantitative ability (MCQ), quantitative ability (short answer) and verbal ability. Each section has a fixed time limit and candidates need to be careful about time management.

IPMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria of the IPMAT Indore Exam 2026.

Age

  • Candidates should be born on or after August 1, 2006 to be eligible.

  • SC/ST/PwD candidates are given an age relaxation of 5 years (born on or after August 1, 2001).

Qualifying Exam

  • The candidate must have passed or be appearing for Class 12/HSC or equivalent in 2024, 2025 or 2026.

  • The candidate must have completed Class 10/SSC or equivalent.

Note: Candidates who are expecting to complete Class 12/HSC by July 31, 2026 can also apply if they meet the eligibility criteria.

IPMAT 2026 Registration Process

Candidates who want to take the IPMAT exam should register online by visiting the official IPMAT website. Candidates must also choose the number of attempts they want to take in their application form. Each IPMAT exam session has a separate fee. The registration process for the IPMAT exam is given below:
