The Indian Institute of Management will release the IPMAT answer key shortly after the examination. The answer key will be released in two phases: provisional and final.

Steps to Download IPMAT Answer Key 2026
Candidates should follow the steps to download the provisional IPMAT answer key 2026 from the official website of IIM Indore-
Visit the official website of IPMAT Indore(iimidr.ac.in).
From the homepage, select the “IPMAT Answer Key 2026” link.
Log in using your login details, User ID and password.
Select your Question Paper Set and proceed with it.
The IPMAT 2026 Answer key will be shown on the screen.
Candidates can download the PDF document for future use.
The candidate will also get their response sheet along with the answer key. Candidates can easily find out the answers marked with the tick symbol (green color) and wrong responses marked with a cross symbol (red color).
Steps to Raise Objections Against IPMAT Indore 2026
In case there are any issues in the provisional answer key, the candidate can raise an objection against the IPMAT answer key within the specified time period. Only the online method will be provided to submit objections for the IPMAT 2026 exam answer key.
Firstly, click on the objection link sent to the candidate's registered email id.
Next, log in to your account by using your login credentials, User ID and Password.
Navigate to the "Objection Form" option.
Enter the relevant information like question paper set, shifts and question ID.
Select the nature of the objection and enter the remarks.
Submit the answer key objection fee of ₹100 per question online.
Submit your form successfully.
The final IPMAT answer key will be declared after evaluating all objections raised. Candidates can also download the response sheet/question paper to assess their performance in the IPMAT 2026 exam. Based on the final answer key, the IPMAT Indore result will be declared.
Way to Calculate Score Using the IPMAT Exam Answer Key
Once you download the answer key from IIM Indore, you can estimate your score by comparing your responses with the official answers. The marking scheme is:
Correct Answer: +4 marks
Incorrect Answer (MCQ): -1 mark
Unattempted Questions: 0 marks
To calculate your score, use this formula-
Score=(Correct×4)−(Incorrect×1)
Example:
Total Questions: 100
Attempted: 96
Correct Answers: 81
Incorrect Answers: 15
Unattempted: 4
Calculation:
Marks from correct answers = 81 × 4 = 324
Marks deducted for wrong answers = 15 × 1 = 15
Unattempted = 0
Final Score = 324 − 15 = 309
After calculating your score, you can compare it with previous year cut-offs or expected cut-offs to estimate your chances of selection.
