The IPMAT Indore exam is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the IIM Indore for its five-year integrated program. The IPMAT 2025 exam will be conducted online using a computer- based test format. The application process is scheduled to start in February 2025 with the last date for filling out the exam form likely to be around April 2025. The admit card will be issued to the candidate in the last week of April or the first week of May 2025. The exam is scheduled on 12 May 2025 and the result is expected in the first week of June 2025. The IPMAT Indore exam checks the quantitative and verbal ability of the candidates. Questions related to Quantitative Ability (MCQs), Quantitative Ability (short answer type questions) and Verbal Ability are asked in the IPMAT Indore examinations.

Steps To Download IPMAT Indore Admit Card

The IPMAT Indore admit card is a mandatory document to appear in the exam. It contains all the important information about the candidate and the exam such as name, photo, application number, exam date, time and examination centre. It also contains important instructions on exam day, such as reporting times and recommendations on what objects are allowed and not allowed within the exam centre. The following steps should be followed to download the IPMAT Indore exam:

  • Now enter the login credentials that were created at the time of registration. Login credentials include the registration number and password.

  • Candidates should find the option to download the admit card.

  • After that, check that all the details of the admit card mentioned on it are correct.

  • Download and print the admit card.

Details Mentioned On IPMAT Admit Card 2025

Candidates must have an admit card at the time of the examination. The admit card contains the following information:

  • Candidates’ Name

  • Roll Number of candidates

General Instructions for IPMAT 2025 Exam Day

The candidate needs to follow the general instructions for the IPMAT 2024 exam day:

Admit card & photo ID: Candidates should carry a printout of the admit card and a valid photo ID proof like an Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID or passport. These documents are compulsory and without these items entry into the exam center will not be allowed. Verify that all the details mentioned on the admit card are correct and match their ID proof.

Arrival at exam centre: Aspirants reach the centre at least an hour before the time mentioned on the admit card. This will give enough time for security checks, document verification and finding their assigned seat without any rush.

Prohibited Items: Electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators and study materials are prohibited in the exam centre. If these items are found, it will result in disqualification from the exam.

Dress Code: If the dress code has been mentioned, then the candidate should follow the dress code. Clothes should be simple and comfortable. Do not wear clothes with metallic elements in them, such as a belt or jewellery, as these might set off the metal detectors in the security check.

COVID-19 Guidelines (If applicable): Candidates should follow all health and safety rules. Guidelines also include wearing masks during the examination, bringing a small bottle of hand sanitiser and maintaining social distancing at the centre.

Things Allowed Inside the IPMAT Exam Centre

Here is the list of things that are allowed in the exam centre:

Admit card: The admit card is a very important document proving eligibility to appear in the examination. Only a hard copy of the admit card is allowed and the digital admit card is not allowed. Ensure that all information on the admit card matches the candidate's ID proof.

Original ID Proof: For verification of identity, aspirants need an authentic government issued photo ID. The following types of identification proof are accepted:

  • PAN Card 

  • Voter ID 

  • Aadhaar cards

  • Passport

  • The candidate’s valid driving license includes a photograph of the candidate

Comfortable Clothes and Footwear: Candidates should wear the clothes and footwear as per the dress code mentioned in the instructions.

Transparent water bottle and ballpoint pen: Candidates should bring a transparent water bottle and avoid carrying bottles with labels or dark colours, as these are not to allowed.

Things Not Allowed In the IPMAT Exam Centre

Here is the list of items that are not allowed in the examination centre:

Electronic Device: Candidates should not bring electronic devices into the exam centre. No electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, or calculators and no study materials should be brought to the examination centre. These are strictly banned and can lead to disqualification if found in possession.

Food Items: In the IPMAT Indore exam, food within the exam centre is not allowed. This includes snacks, packaged foods and beverages (excluding water). If candidates have a medical condition like diabetes, they may be allowed to carry specific food items like glucose tablets, fruits or light snacks and biscuits. In such cases, candidates should carry a doctor's prescription or medical certificate and must inform the officials before the exam starts.

Jewellery and Accessories: Jewellery and accessories are generally not allowed in the IPMAT exam centre due to security concerns and to prevent disturbance during the security checks. Metal jewellery like rings, bracelets, chains, earrings and other items made of the same material are strictly not to be worn since they trigger metal detectors at entry. Wristwatches, especially smartwatches, are also not permitted since they might be seen as a cheating source. Belts having metallic buckles or other components are also not allowed.

Candidates should dress simply and comfortably. Female applicants can wear plain tops and trousers or a kurta and the male candidates should dress formally with a shirt and trousers.

The candidates cannot bring their pen or paper for the IPMAT Indore exam. All necessary materia,l such as pens and rough sheets for calculation are provided by the examination authority. The candidates need to use only the materials given at the centre and hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator after the exam.

The candidates can download the admit card from their mobile phones.

Only the original copy of the admit card with clearly identifiable details and a photo of the candidate is allowed in the IPMAT Indore examination.

If candidates have forgotten their password to download their admit card, then they should visit the official exam website, select the "Forgot Password" option and then enter their registered information such as their application number, date of birth or email address to reset their password and access their admit card.
