Step 1 – Apply for CAT

• To apply, candidates must take the CAT exam in the year when the admissions are taking place and select IIM Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy) among the preferred IIMs.

• Post-CAT, apply through the IIM Trichy online admission portal. According to IIM Trichy’s doctoral application page, candidates submit scanned copies of academic mark sheets, certificates, and test score cards.

• Doctoral programs—INR 1,000 with no fees for SC/ST/PwD categories; for PGPM/MBA—the fee and process are mentioned in their admission policy.

Step 2: Shortlisting Criteria (PI & WAT)

• Shortlisting Parameters (WAT & PI) IIM Tiruchirappalli shortlists students for WAT (Written Analysis Test) and PI (Personal Interview) on the basis of CAT percentile.
