General Scholarship Rules of IIM Ahmedabad

Students who are caught violating institute rules or are found in misconduct will not be considered. 

Students may be given more than one scholarship per year if:

• Sponsors do not object and

• The aggregate scholarship value does not exceed the annual costs.

Scholarships can be withdrawn if:

• Misinformation is provided in the application,

• Institute rules are violated,

• The student is found in misconduct.

Scholarships Given by the Government of India

1. SC/ST Scholarships (Merit-cum-Means)

For SC/ST category students with a family income of less than ₹4.50 Lakhs per annum.    Given on merit and financial need basis.

2. Minority Welfare Scholarships (Merit-cum-Means)

For students from minority communities whose family makes less than ₹2.50 lakhs annually. Offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.

3. Scholarships for Students with Disabilities (Merit-cum-Means)

For students with disabilities who come from families that make less than ₹6.00 Lakhs annually. Merit and financial assistance based.
