The One-Year Full-Time MBA-PGPX at IIM Ahmedabad is a globally acclaimed program designed for mid-to-senior level professionals aiming to elevate their careers into leadership roles. Consistently ranked among the top globally for career progression, the program attracts high-performing individuals with diverse industry experiences and international exposure.

The 20th batch (2025–2026) of the MBA-PGPX welcomes 158 professionals including 110 male (69.62%) and 48 female students (30.38%) marking the highest representation of women in the program’s history. The cohort reflects a strong blend of experience and diversity with an average work experience of 7 years and 9 months and an average age of 31 years and 1 month as of March 31, 2025. Notably, 36.43% of the students have international exposure, either through work or academic pursuits.

This year's cohort covers a broad range of industries, which gives the classroom depth and diversity. Ad/Media, Aerospace and Aviation, Agriculture, BFSI, Consulting, Defence and Security, Energy and Utilities, FMCG, Food and Food Processing, Infrastructure and Construction, IT & ITeS, IT Products, Legal Services and Healthcare are among the industries represented by the participants. Manufacturing/Engineering has the most representatives (25 students), followed by IT Products (12), Energy and Utilities (18), Consulting (14), Retail/e-commerce (11) and Infrastructure & Construction, BFSI and IT & ITeS (9 students).

In terms of academic aptitude, the cohort includes students who have qualified with an average GMAT score of 692 (across 39 students), an average GMAT Focus Edition score of 642 (84 students) and an average GRE score of 322 (35 students). This reflects the strong intellectual calibre of the batch.

The PGP batch of IIM Ahmedabad has a mix of students from varied professional backgrounds and work experience levels. A large percentage of the batch approximately 35% is from the IT/ITeS industry followed by 16% from industrial, 15% from each finance and the government sector, 12% from consultancy and 7% from other industries. This is a good diversity in terms of industry experience.

On the work experience front, the batch has an even distribution of new graduates and early-career professionals. Approximately 25% are new graduates with another 17% having 0–1 year of experience. The majority approximately 29% are students with 1–2 years of work experience. Then there are 15% with 2–3 years of experience and around 13% with over 3 years of professional experience. • Women Students: The Blended Post Graduate Program (BPGP) at IIMA has 25 percent female students.
