IIM Ahmedabad has introduced new admission criteria for the 2026-2028 MBA cohort. The significant change is the increment in the minimum qualifying CAT cutoff score. According to the recently introduced admission policy the minimum qualifying CAT cutoff score is increased to 95 percentile for General category students. This is the biggest increase in recent years as the cutoff was only 80 percentile for General category candidates last year.

• General Category - 95th percentile

• PwD Category - 85th percentile  

Once the candidates clear the CAT cutoff, they have to appear for the AWT and PI rounds. The shortlist for the PI round 2026 at IIM Ahmedabad has been announced. Those candidates who are able to secure the qualifying CAT cutoff are eligible to appear for the PI round by filling out an online application form on the official website of IIM Ahmedabad.
