The XGMT exam registration period at XIM University is officially closed. Applicants who have completed the application procedure for XGMT will be considered eligible to appear for XGMT and this also finalises the XGMT registration last date for the current admission cycle.

Besides XGMT, the candidates are free to seek admission to the XIM University MBA program through other national entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT and NMAT. The XGMT exam date for the upcoming session is confirmed as 25 January 2026. Those who have a bachelor’s degree are eligible to take the XGMT 2026 entrance exam.

What is XGMT?

XIM General Management Aptitude Test (XGMT) is an online entrance examination organised by XIM University previously known as Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB). The entrance exam for several MBA programs at Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB) is called XGMT. The test structure remains similar to the XGMT previous year question paper helping candidates understand the difficulty level. The XGMT test pattern is a computer-based test administered at different test centres across six cities in India.

Eligibility Criteria for XGMT 2026 Exam

The following are the eligibility requirements a candidate needs to fulfill for appearing in XGMT 2026-

  • The candidate needs to have a minimum three year bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 55 per cent aggregate marks.

  • Candidates who expect to finish the last portion of their degree before 15 June  2026 are also eligible to apply.

  • If a candidate does not fulfil all the requirements for the degree before the stipulated date the admission will be cancelled.

  • No student who joins any program at XIM University shall be permitted to appear for an examination conducted by another institution/agency.

XGMT 2026 Application Form

The registration for XGMT 2026 at XIM University is conducted in online mode through the official website xim.edu.in. Candidates will be able to fill out the XGMT application form 2026 till the last date which also coincides with the XIMB Bhubaneswar last date to apply and XIMB registration timeline. Applicants who would look for admission via CAT, NMAT, XAT, GMAT or other such exams will also have to submit the online application. The application process of XGMT will comprise -

XGMT Admit Card 2026

The XGMT admit card 2026 will only be given to applicants who successfully register for the test. After getting published, candidates can download the admit card from the official website xim.edu.in

The applicants will have to print the admit card and carry it to the exam centre. The admit card of XGMT will mention some important information like exam date, time, venue and other instructions. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam room if they do not have a paper copy of their admission card.

XGMT 2026 Results

The XGMT results will be declared on the official website and the XGMT result date will be announced by the university. Candidates can log in using their login ID to check the XGMT 2026 result. Based on the scores institutes will announce the XGMT cut off for XIMB also commonly referred to as the XGMT cutoff. Shortlisted candidates forming the XIMB shortlist 2026 will have to report for the Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview. Final selection will be done based on -

XGMT or XIM University Common Management Test is the entrance test conducted by XIM University for admission to MBA and Executive MBA Courses.

The XGMT 2026 is an online computer-based test with multiple-choice questions which has to be attempted within a fixed duration of 120 minutes.

The XGMT exam has four sections namely Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Emotional Quotient with General Awareness all with objective-type questions.

The required qualifications for the XGMT application are that the candidate should have a three-year bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate from an acknowledged university.

The last date for registration is 10 January 2025 and the exam date is 25 January 2026. The XGMT result is expected on 31 Jan 2026.

The XGMT exam fee consists of ₹1500 as the exam fee, ₹1800 as the basic registration fee, and ₹400 as the additional score fee with one form of application permitting candidates to apply for several XIM University courses.

XGMT is an institute-level entrance exam conducted for admission to the XIM University only while CAT, XAT, GMAT and NMAT are national-level exams that are accepted by numerous B-schools in India for admission to their management programs including XIM University.

In the XGMT exam each correct response earns three marks but one mark is deducted for each incorrect response.
