The XGMT syllabus for the year 2026 has been published by XIM University. The X-GMT question paper is designed keeping in mind four categories. The topics and subtopics under each category have been clearly stated in the XGMT 2026 syllabus. The X-GMT 2026 examination will comprise questions from the following topics namely Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Emotional Quotient and General Awareness. The time allotted for the XMAT exam is two hours. A correct answer will fetch three points to the test takers and an incorrect answer will lead to a loss of one mark.

XGMT Syllabus 2026 Exam Highlights 

Here is the basic outline of what is covered in each section of the XGMT syllabus 2026 - 

  • The Quantitative Aptitude portion is designed to test the mathematical ability of a candidate.

  • The Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning section assesses a candidate on their knowledge of grammar rules as well as their ability to identify patterns, relations and logic.

FAQs

The 2026 XGMT is an online test that is conducted in a computer-based test mode. The test will take two hours or 120 minutes in total.

The XGMT exam pattern consists of a total of four sections in the XGMT examination.

Indeed, the 2026 XGMT exam has a sectional time limit. The time limit for each section varies and is usually fixed between twenty-five to thirty-five minutes depending on the section.

For all correct answers test takers will get three marks. One mark is lost for every incorrect answer.

The total number of questions expected in the 2026 XGMT exam lies between 100 and 130 since there is a slight variation every year.

Bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts, tables, caselets, data sufficiency and basic logical reasoning utilising data are all covered in the Data Interpretation course.

This section of the XGMT exam includes current affairs, business, economy, government, politics, awards, famous personalities, static general knowledge, personality traits, leadership skills, managing emotions and situational judgment questions.
