The Advanced Global Leadership Program (AGLP 2.0) for PSU Executives is launched by SCOPE and IIM Calcutta

Atul Sobti, Director General of SCOPE and a member of the ILO Governing Body, officially launched the program in Kolkata. Program Directors Professors Prashant Mishra and Biswatosh Saha as well as Professor R. Rajesh Babu, Dean of Executive Education at IIM Calcutta, were present.
The three week exercise involves 38 senior-most executives from13 PSUs from various sectors. The activity would consist of intensive sessions at IIM Calcutta and SCOPE in New Delhi and an international study cum business tour to familiarise participants with international business processes.
In his address during the inauguration, Sobti highlighted the significance of leadership in fostering excellence, innovation and change in PSEs. He stressed SCOPE's resolve to nurture future leaders who can synchronise organisational growth with national priorities and global benchmarks.
Prof. Rajesh Babu highlighted the decades long relationship between IIM Calcutta and SCOPE reiterating the institute's focus on executive development and leadership education. He added that the likes of AGLP contribute significantly to fostering a pool of creative public sector executives.
AGLP 2.0 is designed to provide strategic foresight a global outlook and adaptive leadership skills. The program seeks to empower public sector leaders in India by equipping them to deal with challenging problems and rapidly evolving business landscapes.
