IIM Kozhikode Records 66% Women Enrolment in PGP 2026 - 28 Batch

IIM Kozhikode has achieved a record milestone, with 66 per cent of women students enrolled in its flagship PGP for the 2026 - 28 batch, the highest female representation in the institute's history. According to the institute, 329 of the 499 candidates admitted to the flagship PGP are women.

During the inauguration ceremony, the institute welcomed 599 students into its three full-time MBA programs, while 99 scholars were admitted to its doctoral programs in management. The event was attended by Raghu Polisetty, Senior Managing Director at Accenture, as the chief guest, while Director of IIM Kozhikode, Prof Debashis Chatterjee, presided over the programme.

The institute also reported that 57 percent of students in the flagship PGP come from non-engineering backgrounds. Across all three full-time MBA programs, 59 per cent of the students are from non-engineering disciplines, highlighting the institute's focus on academic diversity.

IIM Kozhikode also welcomed the first batch of its Doctoral Program in Management (Teaching Track), a newly introduced doctoral program aimed at strengthening management education and research.
