JIPMAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for taking admissions in the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at the Indian Institute of Management Jammu and the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya. Educational Qualification
Candidates need to satisfy the following criteria-
Class 12: The candidates need to have passed class 12 or its equivalent in 2023 or 2024 or be appearing in 2026. In case the candidate appears for the 2026 must qualify for the test till 31 July 2026.
Class 10: Applicants must have completed their Class 10 examination in 2021 or later.
Age Limit
Applicants of any age can apply for JIPMAT 2026. They just need to pass class 10 and class 12 as per the passing year criteria mentioned above.
Eligibility Requirements for the JIPMAT Exam in 2026
Candidates who wish to take the JIPMAT exam must meet the eligibility requirements. The JIPMAT exam eligibility criteria are as follows:
The candidates must have cleared the science, commerce or arts stream class 12 examination of 2023, 2024 or 2025.
By 2021, applicants should have passed the class 10 exam.
JIPMAT Eligibility: Accredited 10+2 Equivalent Tests
For admission to the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test, some of the qualifications that can be deemed equivalent to the usual 10+2 standards are as follows-
Senior Secondary Tests: Senior Secondary education of 12th Standard (10+2) by an accredited Central Board of Secondary Education or state board of secondary education.
Intermediate Courses: Two-year Intermediate or Pre-University courses from accredited colleges/universities.
Open Schooling Tests: Accredited (National Institute of Open Schooling) NIOS or State Open Schools tests for Senior Secondary Level. Applicants should have completed at least five subjects, including English.
JIPMAT 2026 Reservation Criteria
The rules governing the reservation system have been framed in line with the policies adopted by the Government of India. The applicants seeking admission through the reserved categories will be required to submit their certificates to avail themselves of the facilities.

JIPMAT Admission Process for IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya 2026
Admission to IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu through JIPMAT is not done purely based on the marks obtained in the test. Several criteria are taken into account while making the final decision, as follows-
After the announcement of JIPMAT results, the cut-off marks are released by both colleges. Those candidates who manage to score the necessary cut-offs as well as composite marks can be considered eligible for further admission. Selected students must check their eligibility and pay the seat acceptance fee.
