JIPMAT Admission Process
Once a year exam will be organised by the NTA. The process of application starts several months ahead. The applicants first have to register themselves online through the NTA’s official website. Then they have to upload the required documents and pay the mandatory fees for the confirmation of the registration. Students are required to fill out the form completely online on the official website of the NTA, upload their documents and pay the application fee.
The JIPMAT test is computer-based. It contains multiple-choice questions set over three sections: quantitative aptitude (mathematics), data interpretation & logical reasoning and verbal ability (English). The test takes a duration of 150 minutes and contains a maximum mark of 400.
The NTA issues the scorecards after the test. All IIMs prepare their own merit list from the JIPMAT score, Class 10 and 12 marks and perhaps other parameters like gender diversity.
There are no group discussions or personal interviews.
Meritorious students who appear on the merit list are admitted to the IPM program. Accepting the offer and depositing the required fees confirms their admission. This course provides a sound basis in management and presents a promising career opportunity.
