IIM Lucknow Begins Admissions for BS in AI and Business Analytics via JEE Advanced Score

IIM Lucknow has commenced the registration process for its Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics program. The program aims to prepare students for emerging opportunities in the AI - driven business landscape by combining technical expertise with analytical and managerial skills.

IIM Lucknow Begins Admissions for BS in AI and Business Analytics via JEE Advanced Score

Interested candidates can submit their applications for the UG program through the official IIM Lucknow website by 3 July.

According to the eligibility requirements applicants must have passed or be appearing for Class 12 in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. In addition applicants must have qualified JEE Advanced to be considered for admission.

The BS program offers a limited intake of 60 seats making the admission process highly competitive.

IIM Lucknow BS Admissions 2026 - Dual-Degree Pathway and Admission Process

Selection for the BS in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics program will be based on candidates' academic records and their performance in JEE Advanced. According to IIM Lucknow applicants from the SC or ST categories will be eligible for a 5 per cent relaxation in marks as per Government of India guidelines.

The institute will announce the first admission list on July 10, the second on July 23 and the third on August 3. Selected applicants must report to the campus on 17 August while classes for the program are scheduled to begin on 18 August.

Applicants pursuing the BS in AI and Business Analytics will have the option to move into the Tech-MBA program which is expected to start in the 2027-28 academic session after they complete the third year of study. This pathway will allow eligible students to earn an integrated dual degree from IIM Lucknow.

Speaking about the initiative MP Gupta Director of IIM Lucknow said the program creates a unique opportunity for students immediately after Class 12. He noted that for the first time at a management institute admissions will be based on JEE Advanced scores enabling talented young students to begin their higher education journey at IIM Lucknow.

Graduates of the program will be well-positioned for careers across diverse sectors including e-commerce, consulting, technology, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare and public-sector organisations.
