IIT Roorkee DoMS Eligibility Criteria for MBA

• Applicants should hold a UGC recognised bachelor degree or an equivalent professional qualification in any discipline with at least 60% marks or 55% for SC/ST/PD categories.

• Applicants who are in final year are also eligible to apply. If selected they will be admitted provisionally, subject to completing all requirements of the qualifying degree with the required minimum percentage or CGPA or its equivalent by the specified date. The percentage will be determined using the overall marks or CGPA obtained in the qualifying degree examinations.

• OBC applicants must submit a copy of their category certificate in the format defined by the Government of India, issued by a competent body after March 31, 2025. SC, ST and PD candidates must present the applicable category certificate in the prescribed Government of India format at the time of their interview.

IIT Roorkee MBA Shortlist 2026 Criteria

• Shortlisting for interviews will be based on CAT 2025 performance.

• Applicants from IITs who entered through JEE or JEE Advanced and have secured a CGPA of 7 or above are directly invited for the Personal Interview without CAT.

• Offer letters are issued after preparing a common merit list

IIT Roorkee MBA Selection Criteria

Admission merit will be based on CAT 2025 scores, Interview performance and work experience. Final year students can apply and may attend the Interview using pre final year marks if final results are unavailable. Proof of meeting the qualifying degree requirements in terms of percentage or CGPA must be submitted no later than September 30, 2026.

Documents Required at the Time of Interview

• CAT 2025 scorecard or IIT-JEE scorecard, as applicable.

• Certificates and mark sheets of all years or semesters of the qualifying degree.

• High School and Secondary School certificates and mark sheets, or equivalent.

• Category certificate for GEN, OBC-NC, SC, ST or PwD issued by a competent authority in the prescribed Government of India format along with a medical certificate for PwD candidates, if applicable. OBC-NC and EWS candidates must submit a valid certificate issued after March 31, 2025.

• Proof of first rank or Gold Medal in the qualifying degree (applicable only under the Golden Girl Scheme).

• Proof that the Institute/University ranks within the top 50 in NIRF 2025 (Overall category), applicable only for the Golden Girl Scheme.

• Sponsorship, experience or No Objection Certificate, as applicable (Annexure-2).

• Proof that the parent organisation’s annual turnover exceeded ₹5 crore in each of the last two years for full time sponsored candidates.

• Passport applicable only for international candidates.

IIT Roorkee Executive MBA Admission Process

Following are the steps involved in the admission process of IIT Roorkee DoMS executive MBA program.

Important Dates for EMBA Application

• The application deadline is May 17, 2026. 

• Interviews will be conducted on the 2nd and 3rd weekends of May 2026. 

• The results will be announced in the first week of July 2026 and Term 1 classes will begin in the fourth week of July 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for EMBA program of IIT Roorkee DoMS
