Director: Prof. Naliniprava Tripathy currently leads IIM Shillong as its Director-in-Charge. Prof. Tripathy is fully dedicated to bringing deep academic and administrative expertise, is steering the institute’s strategic and educational mission.

Faculty: IIM Shillong has around 42 full-time faculty members across several disciplines, with a majority holding PhDs from premier Indian and international universities.

Atul Mehta: Atul Mehta is the faculty of Economics & Public Policy at Indian Institute of Management Shillong. He had his M.A. in Economics from Devi Ahilya University Indore followed by Ph. D. in Economics from IIM Indore.

Mousumi Bhattacharya: Mousumi Bhattacharya is an associate professor of finance at IIM Shillong. She received a rank at both the M.Phil. and post-graduation levels after completing her postgraduate studies in business finance, M.Phil and PhD at the University of Calcutta. She also graduated from ICFAI University with a diploma in business finance.

Neelam Rani: Dr. Neelam Rani teaches finance as an associate professor at IIM Shillong. She received her PhD in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. She was awarded a Fulbright Doctoral and Professional Fellowship at Rutgers Business School, The State University of New Jersey, Newark, USA.

Basav Roychoudhury: Basav Roychoudhury is a teacher of Information Systems & Analytics at IIM Shillong. He has completed a Ph.D (Computer Science and Engineering), Tezpur University. eGovernment, enterprise systems and mobile computing—including protocols and security—are among his areas of interest.

Prof. DP Goyal: , Prof. DP Goyal is a professor of information systems and analytics. At IIM Shillong. Previously, Professor DP Goyal had also served as the Director at IIM Shillong. 

Dr. Devansh Pandey: Dr. Devansh Pandey is a teacher of marketing at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong.. He has done a Ph.D. in marketing from the National Institute of Technology Kharagpur, and an M.Tech. in entrepreneurship and innovations from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur.. Before coming to IIM Shillong, Dr. Pandey was an assistant professor at the Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), located in Rohini.

Prasanta Kr. Chopdar: Prasanta Kr.Chopdar is an Assistant Professor in Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong. His teaching interests are in the subject areas of Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy, Business Research Methods, Sustainability Marketing, and Brand Management.

Dr. Vibhas Amawate: At Present, Dr.Vibhas Amawate is an Associate professor of marketing at IIM Shillong. Dr. Vibhas Amawate has worked in academia and business for nearly 20 years. He has taught a range of areas of marketing, with specialisation in societal marketing and consumer insights.

Abhinav Kumar Sharma: Dr. Abhinav Kumar Sharma is a professor at IIM Shillong specialising in teaching operation management and quantitative techniques. He earned his doctorate in operations management from the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.

Rohit Joshi: At IIM Shillong, Rohit Joshi teaches the discipline of operations management and quantitative techniques. He is a Fulbright fellow. He has completed Postdoctoral Research work at UCLA, University of California, Los Angeles, USA. He completed his doctoral studies at the IndianInstitute of Technology Delhi's Department of Management Studies.

Kailash Choudhary: Kailash Choudhary is a Faculty member at IIM Shillong and teaches operations and quantitative techniques. He has his doctoral degree from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani.

Dr. Pradeep Rathore: Dr. Pradeep Rathore is a teacher at the Indian Institute of Management in Shillong, India, who teaches operations management and quantitative techniques. Before this, he was employed at SRM University's Paari School of Business in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur's Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Dr. Yadav Vinay Surendra: Dr. Yadav Vinay Surendra is a teacher of operations and quantitative techniques at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong. Before that, he was working at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi,, as a Research Associate. He holds his Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering & Management (IE&M) degrees from the National Institute of Technology Raipur, India.

Dr. Sitanshu Sekhar Das: Dr. Sitanshu is an Assistant Professor in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour at IIM Shillong. Dr. Sitanshu has his Ph.D. in management from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Dr. Sitanshu completed his graduation at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur with a Ph.D. in management. 

Dr. Ashutosh Murti:.  Before joining IIM Shillong, Dr. Ashutosh Murti was an assistant professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He graduated with a master's and doctorate in philosophy from the Mumbai-based School of Management and Labour Studies of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Dr. Sheetal:  Dr. Sheetal:is an assistant professor at IIM Shillong, India, and teaches MBA students at Strategy and Liberal Studies department. Before this, she was an assistant professor at the Jaipuria Institute of Management (Ghaziabad) & Lovely Professional University (Punjab). She was also a research consultant with a joint initiative project of the Indian Ministry of Education, UNICEF, and NCERT. 

Sanjeeb Kakoty: Sanjeeb Kakoty has been serving as a teacher at IIM Shillong since 2009 in the Department of Strategy and Liberal Studies. In addition, he is a guest faculty member  at IIM Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

Dr. Debasisha Mishra: Dr. Debasisha Mishra is an Assistant Professor in Strategic Management and Business Planning at IIM Shillong since July 2014. He is involved in teaching various courses, such as management teachings from Indian mythology, corporate strategy, competitive strategy, and learning from Kautilya's Arthashastra.
