Lucknow University has announced the schedule for its Postgraduate Entrance Test for the 2026 - 27 academic session. The entrance exams for admission to around 4000 PG seats will be conducted from 16 to 22 July.

According to university officials the PGET question papers will be prepared according to the syllabus of LU UG programs. The selection process for postgraduate courses in various disciplines including Arts, Commerce, Science, Law and others will depend on candidates’ performance in the entrance exam.Â
For regular PG programs the entrance test will have a duration of 90 minutes.
MBA admissions will be conducted through CAT 2025 scores with the minimum required cutoff set at 50 percentile for General category candidates and 45 percentile for Reserved category candidates as per university rules.
Candidates can secure admission to vacant MBA seats through the Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) after CAT based admissions. The exam will include 100 objective type questions to be completed in 90 minutes covering areas such as General Awareness, Data Interpretation, English Verbal Ability and Comprehension and Logical Reasoning. Each question will carry two marks and there will be no negative marking for incorrect or unanswered questions.
