DAVV Launches 5-Year Integrated MBA at IMS with AI and Data Analytics Specialisation

Previously available only at the International Institute of Professional Studies, the program has consistently witnessed the highest admission cutoff among the university's UG courses.

While the program will continue to follow the five-year Integrated MBA format, the existing Management Science specialisation will be replaced with Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics to meet the increasing demand for technology-oriented management professionals. The university has approved an initial intake of 60 students and the fee details will be announced later.

Admissions to the program will be based on the CUET UG counselling. The course will be included in the university's CUET UG counselling process and interested applicants must register for counselling, which is currently underway.

Vice Chancellor Prof Rakesh Singhai said that the Integrated MBA program has been the university's most popular UG management course for almost ten years with the number of candidates consistently exceeding the available seats. He added that the university is expanding high-demand programs by increasing seat capacity and introducing them in additional departments. According to him, the addition of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics will better align the curriculum with evolving industry needs.

The program will also implement the multiple exit option under the National Education Policy. Applicants who complete three years of the course will have the flexibility to exit with a BBA degree instead of pursuing the full five-year Integrated MBA.

IMS Director Dr Deepak Srivastava stated that only applicants who have appeared for the CUET UG examination will be eligible to take part in the counselling process. Admissions will be granted based on candidates' merit and their preferred course choices submitted during the online counselling process.
