Under this program, students complete their first year at LPU, where they develop a strong understanding of management fundamentals, including business analytics, finance, marketing, leadership and strategic decision-making. In the second year, they can transfer to a partner university abroad to continue their studies and earn international exposure.
Speaking about the initiative, Aman Mittal said that global exposure is becoming increasingly important in management education. He noted that the MBA Credit Transfer Option allows students to experience international learning, build cross-cultural leadership skills, and prepare for global career opportunities while maintaining affordability and academic quality.
Through this program, LPU aims to develop globally competent business professionals. The international credit transfer pathway provides students with access to world-class academic environments, international networking opportunities and improved career prospects in global markets.
Commenting on the program, Rajesh Verma stated that the modern business environment is increasingly global and interconnected. He noted that organisations seek professionals who can operate in international markets, lead diverse teams and drive innovation across regions. According to him, the LPU MBA with International Transfer Option has been designed to help students develop these capabilities while making global education more affordable and accessible.
A major benefit of the program is its cost efficiency. By completing a part of their studies in India before transferring abroad, students can significantly reduce the expenses associated with pursuing a full-time MBA entirely overseas while still gaining valuable international exposure.
The program also includes the option to study Indian and foreign languages based on students' interests and career aspirations. Learners can choose languages such as Japanese, German, French and Spanish helping them strengthen cross-cultural communication skills and improve their competitiveness in the global job market.
