The 77.01 hectares of government land in Mouje Moshi have been selected as the property for the campus. This 28-hectare land is currently worth INR 186.78 crore, according to the state government's financial evaluation. The occupation charge for IIM Nagpur has been waived by the Maharashtra government. This amount is to be added as the state government's financial portion to the institute's permitted share capital.

The state wants to solidify Maharashtra's standing as a premier centre for industry, education and skill development, according to Chandrashekhar Bawankule, who explained the decision. The government hopes to increase students and young professionals' access to high-quality management education and training possibilities.

It is anticipated that the new IIM Nagpur campus in the Pune area will greatly improve the state of higher education and foster the expansion of the regional startup scene. Officials from the Revenue Department claim that the facility will provide Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad students with worthwhile educational and professional prospects.

It is anticipated that the project will boost industry-oriented skill development programs, support advanced research, foster innovation and improve management education. These initiatives are probably going to support long-term regional growth and help build a strong knowledge-driven economy.
