Various Indian institutions like IIM Rohtak, IIM Indore and IIM Ranchi serve IPMAT as the primary entrance exam for their IPM program. IPMAT is an online examination conducted on India level. The test measures a candidate's skill in several areas such as logical reasoning (LR), verbal ability(VA) and quantitative ability.
The exam scores of IPMAT Rohtak provide admission to its five-year integrated program in management. The IPMAT Rohtak exam registration process was started in February 2025. Admit cards have been released and are available to download on the official website. The exam is set to take place on May 05, 2025.
IPMAT Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Seats in the IPM Program 2025 at IIM Rohtak
There will be a total of 198 seats in IIM Rohtak IPM Batch 2025 and 10% of those seats will be reserved for students belonging to Economically Weaker students. As per the reservation policy of the Government of India, the candidate's admission letter will be issued only on the basis of merit or rank list and subject to availability of seats in each of the following categories - Gen, SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS and DAP.
IPMAT IIM Rohtak 2025 Exam Pattern
As per the calendar, the IPMAT entrance exam for IIM Rohtak 2025 is conducted online. The three sections of the IPMAT exam that are conducted for admission to IIM Rohtak are as follows:
Note: Each question has been allotted 4 marks. -1 will be given in case of a wrong answer. Which means there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. All the questions will be multiple-choice.
IPMAT Rohtak Exam 2025 Syllabus
Syllabus of Quantitative Ability
The topics such as arithmetic, algebra and geometry are included in the section of Quantitative Ability. This section of the exam will check the accuracy, problem-solving ability and speed of the candidates.
Syllabus of Logical Reasoning
The Logical Reasoning section of the paper will test the student’s critical and logical thinking ability. It contains questions on patterns, coding and decoding, puzzles, series, arrangements, blood relations and cubes & dice.
Syllabus of Verbal Ability
This section of the exam checks their vocabulary, grammar, verbal ability and comprehension.

The IPMAT Rohtak exam 2025 answer key will be released after the exam date. From the IIM Rohtak's official website, the IPMAT answer key can be downloaded. Some important steps to download the answer key are as follows:

Click on the IPMAT Rohtak answer key option.
Enter the credentials like Login ID and password.
Choose the set of questions that one answered in the exam and click the submit button.

Steps to Challenge the IPMAT Rohtak Exam Official Answer Key 2025?
Objections can be raised on the IPMAT Rohtak exam answer key 2025. If the candidates find any incorrect answers, they can raise objections. Candidates have to submit supporting documents in favour of their answers.
Students can first open the IIM Rohtak official website.
With the help of a registered email ID and password, students can log in to the page.
Now, candidates have to select the objection tab from the login page.
The student must fill in the essential information like part name and question paper, question ID, format of the selection of questions and remarks will fill out.
Candidates have to submit the proper documents to support their claim otherwise, their objections will not be considered.
The fee for objections to the questions will be submitted. This is a non-refundable fee that will not be returned if the objection is found to be incorrect.
The final step is to submit the objection.
IPMAT Rohtak Admission Process 2025
Steps for admission into the IIM Rohtak IPM Program is given below. Domestic and foreign applicants have a separate selection process. Please find the detailed IPMAT selection process given below:
Step 1: Online registration
According to the application process, eligible candidates who have the minimum required qualifications should apply online.
Non-refundable registration fee should be paid by the student at the time of application.
Step 2: Entrance Exam
Students who are eligible will have to take the IPM Aptitude Test ( IPMAT Rohtak), which is conducted by IIM Indore. Student’s skill is checked in Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Questions), Quantitative Ability( Short Answer Questions) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Questions).
Step 3: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)
The shortlisted group of students for the Personal Interview (PI) is formed on the basis of having good raw scores and a minimum mark in every section of the Aptitude Test. The cut-off marks for every section will be decided by the Admissions Committee and will differ according to the categories of applicants.
Students selected will be called for the personal interview round. The personal interview round will be conducted offline as intimated by the institute.
Step 4: Offline Personal Interview (PI)
The students who are selected will be participating in the offline personal interview. In the personal interview, students will be judged on the basis of their academic performance, general awareness and communication skills.
Personal interviews are tentatively scheduled for the second week of June 2025 or by the end of May 2025.
Step 5: Final Selection and Merit List
The Final Merit list will be generated based on the total score (composite score). The total score will be calculated by totaling the score of the Aptitude test and the personal interview.
How the composite score will be calculated:
Aptitude test Score: 65%
Personal Interview Score: 35%
Composite Score: Sum of (Aptitude Test Score and Personal Interview Score)
After all the rounds, a merit list will be generated. This merit list will be based on the category of the student. A provisional admission offer will be handed over to the selected students. The provisional admission offer will be made based on the composite score and in accordance with the Government of India reservation norms.
Score Weightage
IPMAT 2025 aggregate rank, previous year performance, and personal interview shall be utilised in the making of the Final Merit List. The relative weightages indicated below shall be utilised for compiling the final merit list for admission:
Selection Process of IPMAT Rohtak 2025
Here, the students who are interested in taking admission in the integrated program at IIM Rohtak will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹ 4,937/-.
Students will have to take the IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test to examine their aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English. The exam IPMAT Rohtak will be held on May 05, 2025, from 09:00 A.M onwards (tentatively). The selected students will be telephoned for a personal interview by the last week of May 2025 or in the first week of June 2025. The second week of June 2025 is scheduled for the personal interviews to be held.
The Institute will provisionally declare the merit list in the second week of July 2025. As per the Government of India Reservation Rules, the candidate's admission shall be given based on only merit or rank list and the number of seats in each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and DAP).
Provisional Admission Letter
All the shortlisted students will be issued a provisional admission offer letter on their registered email address shortly after declaring the merit list. The respective bank will send an auto-receipt and an SMS of the transaction to the registered email ID/ mobile no. of the student.
On acceptance of the admission offer and payment of the Acceptance Amount of the Offer (OAA), the student will be sent his/her confirmation letter for provisional admission to IPM Batch 07 (Session 2025-30) on his/her registered email ID. The paid Acceptance Amount of the Offer will be adjusted against the fee for the first-year program. Selected students will have to pay the first installment fee for the first-year program (as indicated in the confirmation letter) via the Institute's portal for admission only. The seat will be withdrawn in case a candidate does not remit the 1st installment of First Year Programme Fees by the date they are given in the admission confirmation letter.
