IIM SAP or the Supplementary Admission Process 2026 is the second admission process for those candidates who were qualified for IIM CAP but could not take admission in any IIM due to their low performance in the CAT exam. This process provides those candidates with another opportunity for admission in the select IIMs.

By SAP IIM candidates are able to apply for admission into IIM Jammu and also into IIM Bodh Gaya. This is organised after the completion of the process of IIM CAP. In the past IIM Sirmaur was also involved in SAP but has now opted out.

The IIM SAP application form will come out only after the IIM CAP application window has closed. IIM SAP 2026 registration will begin in the month of Feb 2026. Candidates will have the opportunity to select their personal interview slots through IIM cap slot booking till March. IIM SAP dates for the year 2026 will come out after the IIM CAP dates for the year 2026 have been announced.

IIM SAP Eligibility Criteria 2026

To apply for IIM SAP 2026 the following requirements must be satisfied -

• He or she must have appeared for the 2025 CAT.

• The candidate should have CAT percentile scores as specified by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. The cutoff varies as per categories.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited university with the requisite minimum marks as per category is necessarily required.

• Final year students can also apply given they provide proof of completion of degree within the time frame specified by the institute.

Registration Process for IIM SAP 2026

The entire IIM SAP Registration process is done online. The candidate has to register separately for IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. Procedure to register for 2026 IIM SAP -

1. Click the official application link to the institute from the SAP application website.

2. Please choose the SAP registration option for 2026.

3. Please enter your CAT ID and login details.

4. Fill up the IIM SAP application form with the requisite personal, academic as well as work experience particulars.

5. All required documents must be uploaded, and the form must be submitted.

Candidates are then required to log in again for booking their WAT and PI slot after submission of the form. Slot booking involves choosing the date, city and location subject to availability.

Documents Required for IIM SAP 2026

Documents that should be uploaded by the applicants while filling the IIM SAP form are the following. However all the documents should all be in the specified format and size as mentioned in the IIM SAP documentation guidelines of the year 2026.

• All files have to be in JPG, JPEG or PNG and PDF format and have to not exceed 1.5MB.

• Recently taken photograph and signature as appearing in CAT Application Form

• Government photo ID Card like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Passport.

• The 2025 CAT scorecard obtained from downloading the CAT official website.

• Mark Sheets and Certificates of High School and Intermediate or Diploma.

• Mark Sheets of bachelors degree and masters degree if applicable.

• Provisional degree certificate for candidates who have completed graduation but have not received the final degree certificate "Bonafide certificate for final year students"

• Certificates of any other degree or professional qualification referred to in 2025 CAT Form

Shortlisting criteria for IIM SAP 2026

• Shortlisting for the IIM SAP round is strictly based on CAT percentile scores. No other factors are considered at this stage. Candidates often compare these with IIM cap cutoff 2026 to assess their chances.

• The official IIM SAP 2026 cut off will be announced after the 2025 CAT results. Till then candidates can refer to the previous year IIM cap cutoff 2025.

IIM Bodh Gaya SAP 2026 Cut Off For Gender Neutral Candidates

The table below shows the minimum CAT percentile required for all candidates to be considered through IIM SAP 2026. The cutoff values have been set according to previous patterns of cutoff scores for the IIM Bodhgaya cutoff.

Through IIM SAP 2026 candidates who passed the previously stated cutoffs but were unable to meet the standards for the higher cutoff set in earlier phases of the shortlisting process will be selected for the personal interview round. Information on IIM SAP will be updated on the official admission website of IIM Bodh Gaya. The SAP registration window is likely to open in 2026 Feb.

IIM Bodh Gaya SAP 2026 Cut Off For Female Candidates (Supernumerary Seats)

Below is the cut off for female candidates who fall under supernumerary girl seats until 2026 IIM SAP.

Female candidates who meet the cut offs as mentioned in the table below but who do not make the cut off in the gender-neutral cut off list shall be considered only for supernumerary girl seats. The PI process of such candidates shall be done through IIM SAP 2026. All information and updates shall be made available at the IIM Bodh Gaya admissions page. This should begin in Feb 2026.
