IGNOU Jan 2026 Deadline Extended to April 10

Indira Gandhi National Open University has yet again postponed the final date for applying to its January 2026 intake for the distance and online courses. The deadline for submitting IGNOU January 2026 applications is now April 10. This is relevant only for new applicants willing to enrol for the present academic year.

For ODL courses, candidates should apply via the official admission website. For online courses, they should register via the ignou official website. Earlier, the deadline for completing IGNOU January 2026 registration was March 30.

The university has made it clear that the deadline for certificate courses and programmes based on the semester system has not been postponed.

IGNOU TEE 2026: Submission Deadline for June Term Exam Extended

As per the latest announcement by IGNOU, IGNOU TEE submission deadline for June examinations 2026 has been extended. This extension will help those IGNOU students who have registered under Open and Distance Learning and Online Mode programs such as GOAL and EVBB.

Now students can submit their IGNOU TEE June 2026 assignments up to April 30, 2026. As mentioned in the notification, students are advised to submit both hard copy and soft copy of the assignments.

The university has made it clear that this is the last extension that IGNOU will provide for submission of assignments. IGNOU students need to submit their assignments to the concerned assignment section as per the guidelines provided by the university.
