Guest of Honor and Keynote Speech
As Guest of Honor, Sandeep Bakhshi, Managing Director & CEO, ICICI Bank, gave a keynote speech at the convocation ceremony.
This was preceded by Milind P Kamble, Chairman, Board of Governors, delivering the welcome address. While addressing the audience, he emphasised that the institute’s vision and mission were centered around inclusive growth, developing leaders and building nations according to the vision of a developed India.
Next, B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, gave the Director’s Report where he shed light on the latest academic developments at the institute.
In his address, Dr Kamble observed that even though IIM Jammu is relatively new, it has emerged as an institute of excellence owing to innovation and leadership.
Degree Distribution with Respect to Programs
Among the total of 520 alumni-
289 have passed out from the MBA program
77 from MBA (Hospital Administration and Health Care Management)
31 have completed the Executive MBA course
123 are IPM batch alumni
Further, there was also one PhD scholar who was conferred a doctorate degree in Management, specifically Organisation Behaviour & HRM.
