    The IIM Rohtak director and faculty members are a perfect blend of rigorous research, industry knowledge and academic background. In addition to the teachers from globally recognised colleges, the institute also has teachers and researchers from India's top colleges, such as IIMs and IITs. These lecturers are from varied academic backgrounds, such as marketing & strategy, operations, finance & accounting, OB/HRM, economics & public policy management & information systems, etc. The faculty members of IIM Rohtak are researchers in addition to being teachers. The Director, Dr. Dheeraj Sharma, is fully dedicated to leading the IIM Rohtak’s academic mission, with a main focus on holistic learning, innovation and global academic standards. He is a professor on leave from IIM Ahmedabad in addition to being the head of IIM Rohtak. IIM Rohtak introduced innovative job-oriented courses under his effective direction, including the Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) in 2019.
