IIM Mumbai faculty features renowned scholars like Hema Diwan, B. Koteswararao Naik, Bhavya Kapoor, Binilkumar Sreeraman, Ajaya Kumar Panda, Jasashwi Mandal, K.S. Ranjani, Nikhil Ghag, Manoj Kumar Jha, Megha Gupta, Milind Akarte, Mainak Mazumdar, Padmanav Acharya and Ruchita Gupta, combining global research, teaching excellence and industry experience.

The institute, Indian Institute of Management Mumbai has an equally impressive and diverse faculty that adds significantly to the academic rigour and the industry interface of the institute.

He said that the institute has highly qualified professors, associate professors and assistant professors and many of them doctors from IITs, IIMs and renowned universities across the world. Their curriculum covers crucial management subjects like finance, marketing, operations, human resources, economics, analytics, supply chain management and strategy to name a few, providing complete learning for the students.

The distinguishing factor of the IIM Mumbai faculty is that they have strong research, teaching and industry backgrounds. Most of the faculty members who consistently publish in leading peer reviewed journals are involved with case studies and author books to enhance management education in India and beyond. They also undertake consultancy work and corporate training programs and this enables them to introduce real life experiences and practical concepts to the classroom. This blend of scholastic rigor and practice helps to bridge the gap between practice and theory. The faculty members of IIM Mumbai also have a knack for creative learning. Students are taught critical thinking, problem solving and leadership skills through interactive lectures, case studies, simulations, live projects and field courses. Visiting faculty members and particularly, industry leaders invited over for guest lectures and workshops expose students to global management practices even more.

Apart from education, the staff significantly contributes to research institutes, policy making projects and collaboration initiatives with governmental departments and international businesses.
