IIM Calcutta Faculty Details: 

1. Apoorva Bharadwaj

In IIM Calcutta's educational section of Business Ethics & Communication, Dr. Apoorva Bharadwaj gives instructions of communications in the Business Ethics & Communication educational area at IIM Calcutta.  Her M.A. in English has also earned her a gold award.  She has a PhD in American fiction, speaks English, and is qualified for SET and UGC-NET.  In 2009, she received a promotion to assistant professor at IIMC, and in 2024, she was made an associate professor.

2. Nandita Roy

Prof. Nandita Roy is an assistant professor of the Business Ethics & Communication academic group, whose details have been recorded in the IIMC directory. She has completed a Ph.D., English Literature at Jadavpur University. Her ongoing work maintains the group's ideology towards ethics and communication. 3. Ankit Kumar

Dr. Ankit Kumar is one of the economics faculty members in IIM Calcutta, He has completed B.Tech - UPES, Dehradun, Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Management. His expertise lies in macro- and microeconomic theory. His contact information and email (ankitk@iimcal.ac.in) are in the directory

5. Tanika Chakraborty

Prof. Tanika Chakraborty holds a Ph.D. from Washington University, an MA in economics, a PHD in economics from JNU, and a BSC in economics from Calcutta University. She offers in-depth research and economic analysis.

6. Samit Paul

Samit Paul is a professor in the IIMC Finance & Control Department. . He has completed AICWA and he is a fellow of IIM Lucknow (MBA Finance). His expertise complements IIMC's financial research and education.

 Rajashik Roy Choudhury is an associate professor at the IIM Calcutta Human Resource Management Division..  Prof. Rajashik Roy Choudhary has completed Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur and PhD in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management from IIM Bangalore. 

 9. Abhipsa Pal

Prof. Abhipsa Pal holds a Ph.D. in information systems from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a B.Tech. in computer science from West Bengal University of Technology.. She is extensively involved in teaching management information systems at IIM Calcutta. The suggestions she made help define IIMC's instruction in information systems and technology.

10. Saumyakanti Chakraborty

Saumyakanti Chakraborty is a renowned professor of Management Information Systems group at IIMC. He has completed B.tech from University of Calcutta. He is a fellow in Management IIM Calcutta previously he was working as an associate professor at XLRI and IIM Calcutta

11. Avinash Kumar

Prof. Avinash Kumar is a well-known assistant professor  in the Marketing department of IIM Calcutta. He studied from Kerala Agricultural University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Agriculture and the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM). Additionally, he completed his doctorate at the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow.. He serves as IIMC's chief marketing spokesperson and contributes to the creation of academic research and courses.

12. Saravana Jai Kumar L.

At the marketing faculty of IIM Calcutta, Saravana Jai Kumar L. is an associate professor.He has completed B.E.(Mechanical Engineering) from PSG College (Anna University, Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Business School, UK and Ph.D. (FPM-Marketing) from IIM, Ahmedabad. He has 9 years of academic experience.

13. Prajamitra Bhuyan

Prajamitra Bhuyan is a key Assistant professor in operations management at IIMC. He has completed M. Stats and PHD in statistics from Indian Statistical Institute bridging theory with practical organisational needs.

14.  Ayesha Arora

Ayesha Arora is a renowned assistant professor of operation management at IIM Calcutta She graduated from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore with a Ph.D. in Production and Operations Management.

15. Megha Sharma

Professor Megha Sharma is one of the most popular instructors in operations management at IIM Calcutta . She completed a Bachelor of Technology from Malaviya National Institute of Technology in Jaipur and Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, India.She supports the teaching of supply chains, manufacturing systems, and process analysis.

16. Vidyanand Jha 

Professor Vidyanand Jha is a renowned expert on organisational behaviour (OB), with a focus on workplace behaviour and leadership. He received a B. Sc. from Patna University and is a Fellow (IIMA) PGDRM (IRMA). In addition, he holds the title of Fellow (IIMA) PGDRM (IRMA).

17. Chetan Joshi

Prof. Chetan Joshi is a renowned professor of  organisational behaviour (OB) group at IIMC. He has completed BSc, University of Lucknow, India,MBA, Department of Management Studies, University of RoorkeeIndia and PhD in Organisational Behavior, Richard Ivey School of Business, Western University (Formerly 'University of Western Ontario'), London, Ontario, Canada. The experience of Dr. Chetan Joshi expands student's knowledge of corporate culture and transformation.

18. Rajiv Kumar

Dr. Rajiv Kumar is a professor of the organisational behaviour group at IIMC. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) in Bhopal, which is equivalent to a master's degree, and a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad. He completes the organisational behaviour (OB) group, contributing research and teaching in management behaviour.

19. Rohit Negi

In the academic department of Public Policy & Management at IIMC, Rohit Negi holds the position of associate professor. He studied from the School of Planning and Architecture with a Bachelor of Planning degree. Rohit Negi also holds Masters in Urban Planning, University of Illinois and PhD in Geography, Ohio State University . As a faculty member of the Public Policy & Management academic group, Dr. Rohit Negi makes contributions to policy frameworks and research in public administration.

20. Rima Mondal

Professor Rima Mondal is a prominent assistant professor in the Public Policy & Management department of IIM Calcutta.    She holds an FPM from the Indian Institute of Management in Indore in addition to her M. Plan from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi.She applies her knowledge when talking about public policy and management strategy. She applies her professional skills to discussions of public policy and management strategy.

21. Anirvan Pant

At IIM Calcutta, Anirvan Pant teaches in the Strategic Management group. He graduated from the University of Lucknow with an M.A. in Economics..Ph.D. Fellow in Corporate Strategy & Policy, IIM Bangalore. Strategic studies are promoted by Professor Anirvan Pant through his academic writings and classroom instruction.

22. Latasri Hazarika 

Dr. Latasri Hazarika is assistant professor in Strategic Management group at IIMC. She has completed B.E.   North-Eastern Hill University, Ph.D. (Strategy and Entrepreneurship), IIM Kozhikode. She completes IIMC's faculty strength and adds value to the strategic management field.
