MNIT Jaipur MBA Admission Process Overview

For admission to the MBA course 2026 at MNIT Jaipur candidates will be required to have a valid score of either CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT or GMAT followed by a Personal Interview round arranged by MNIT. Candidates should fulfil all the eligibility requirements, apply online and go through the selection procedure. Final admissions will be made according to the merit score of the institute followed by fee payment, document verification and ERP registration.

Candidates can apply through the official MNIT Jaipur MBA Admissions Portal after checking the eligibility criteria and admission schedule.

Eligibility

• A 3-year or 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

• Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA and 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST students.

• Candidates in their final year awaiting their results are also eligible.

• A valid score in CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT. If a candidate has appeared in more than one exam, then only one score can be considered.

MNIT Jaipur MBA Selection Process

The procedure of selection comprises the following steps - 

• Step 1 - Fulfilment of Eligibility Criteria 

The applicants need to qualify themselves on the basis of education qualification as well as valid marks in at least one management entrance exam.

• Step 2 - Filing the Online Application Form 

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria need to fill out the online application form through the MNIT Jaipur admissions portal and also pay the requisite application fee. This application fee is not refundable.

• Step 3 - Personal Interview (PI)

Shortlisted eligible candidates are called for the Personal Interview (PI) which is conducted by the Department of Management Studies, usually from March 2026 onward.

• Step 4 - Merit Score Preparation

MNIT Jaipur creates the merit score based on the selection criteria including the entrance test score and personal interview score.

• Step 5 - Admission Offer

Admitted candidates should accept the admission offer and make the fee payment for the first semester through online mode up to the set deadline. Failure to do so results in cancellation of the offered seat.

• Step 6 - Waitlist/Spot Admissions

In case of unavailability of seats even after completion of the first phase of admissions the institute can go for waitlist and if there are further vacancies, spot admissions can be made following the institute’s guidelines.

• Step 7 - Document Verification /ERP Registration

Candidates should carry out the process of document verification and payment proof submission along with the ERP registration of MNIT up to the deadline of the prescribed schedule. Inability to complete this process within the deadline can result in the cancellation of admission.
