In 1963 the Indian Government and the Government of Rajasthan collaborated to construct the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur as Malaviya Regional Engineering College (MREC). MNIT Jaipur MBA Admission Process 2026 

Admission to the MBA program at MNIT Jaipur is conducted once every year for the academic session beginning in July 2026. Admission decisions are made based on merit, a personal interview and the entrance exam. The MBA program has two semesters in one academic year. The odd semester starts in July and the even semester starts in January. Admissions take place only once in a year for one academic session.

1. Educational Qualification

• Have a degree course of 3 or 4 years from a recognised university.

• Should have secured not less than 60%marks or 6.5 CGPA.

• SC and ST candidates should have secured not less than 55% marks or 6 CGPA.

2. Final-Year Students

• Final year graduating students can also apply if they are appearing for the degree examination but results are awaited.

3. Accepted Entrance Exams

Applicants must have a valid score in any one of the following exams namely CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT and MAT

MNIT Jaipur MBA Selection Process

Step 1 - Online application

• MBA application forms will be available and submitted online.

• Application fee will be paid online.

• Application fee is non-refundable.

Step 2 - Personal Interview (PI)

• Suitable candidates will be shortlisted and called for an interview.

• Interviews are expected to be conducted from March 2026 onwards.

Step 3 - Preparation of merit list

• A total score will be computed based on the institute’s selection criteria and approved by the management committee. 

• A category-wise merit list will be published to provide offers to selected candidates. 

Step 4 - Offer of Admission

• The candidates who score above the prescribed merit cutoff are offered admission. 

• The offers will be made on a category-wise ranking basis.
