Eligible candidates should complete the application process by visiting the official Jamia Hamdard University IMS MBA admissions portal and following the admission schedule announced by the institute.

Eligibility Criteria for the Jamia Hamdard University MBA Program

• Applicants should have completed their bachelor's degree from any field of study with an aggregate minimum percentage of 50% or a CGPA of 5.0 out of 10.

• Undergraduate students of the last year are also eligible for the program. But the final decision regarding the admission would only be taken upon submission of the final mark sheet or, provisionally, of the degree certificate. Students pursuing a 3-year undergraduate program should have obtained at least an aggregate minimum percentage of 50% or a CGPA of 5.0 till the fourth semester.

• The candidates who have scored valid scores in any of the national-level management entrance tests like CAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, GPAT, ATMA can apply for this program.

Candidates Exempted from the Aptitude Test

The following applicants are exempt from the aptitude test-

• Professionals having a minimum of two years of working experience after completion of graduation.

• Applicants having passed an undergraduate course of four years or more duration (for example, BE, BTech, MBBS, BA LLB and so forth) with a minimum of 50% marks or a CGPA of 5.0. Even final year students of these courses are eligible to apply, provided they have scored these marks till the sixth semester.

• Applicants having first division in any two of the below-listed examinations - Class 10, Class 12 or Graduation and second division in one examination out of the other two. But in case they fail to secure a minimum of 50% marks or a CGPA of 5.0 in graduation, then they will have to appear for GD & PI as well.

Selection Process

The applicants, who meet the set requirements or fall within the exempt category, will be selected for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The above selection procedures will take place either at the Jamia Hamdard campus or online, depending on the situation that prevails during the admission procedure.

Admission Confirmation

Once all the selection processes are complete, Jamia Hamdard publishes the merit list of those who have been chosen for admission. These students are sent an email that includes some further guidelines. The selected students must verify their documents and pay one-off fees, including the admission fee, enrolment fee, alumni fund and library deposit fee, with the course fee of the first semester.
