The inter-disciplinary dual degree program (IDDDP) of management at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay, is a course where selected students from IIT Bombay can obtain two degrees in one package. In this case, the dual degree program will enable them to receive a technical degree and an MBA degree.

SJMSOM IIT Bombay IDDDP in Management Eligibility Criteria

The criteria for the candidates wishing to pursue the Inter-Disciplinary Dual Degree Program in Management are-

• Candidate should be enrolled for B.Tech., BS or Dual Degree from IIT Bombay.

• Application should be made at the end of the 6th semester.

• An application needs to be made with the consent of the Department Undergraduate Committee (DUGC) of the respective departments.

• The student needs to have a CPI of at least 7.5 at the end of the 6th semester.

• No pending backlogs in any course during the undergrad program at the time of applying.

• Selection for specialisation should be made by applicants at the time of application, such as-

• Finance

• Operations Management

• Shortlisted candidates will be selected depending on their CPI, whereas the final selection process will be done on the basis of a personal interview.

Admission into the Joint EMBA Program of SJMSOM IIT Bombay requires the fulfilment of the following eligibility criteria-

• Master's degree or two-year postgraduate diploma in management with 60% grades / 6.5 CPI or 55% / 6.0 for SC/ST.

• Executive MBA ≥1 year from IITs/IIMs or recognised universities with 60% marks / 6.5 CPI with 55% / 6.0 for SC/ST.

SJMSOM IIT Bombay Fees 2026 for Various Programs  

The fee structures of SJMSOM IIT Bombay 2026 differ from program to program.  MBA (2 years) is ₹20.37 lakhs, Joint EMBA (18 months) ₹45.00 lakhs and IDDD (5 years) ₹3.65 lakhs per semester. Executive MDPs and PhD programs have a different fee structure.
