The areas of specialization are Organisation Development, Compensation, Future of Work, Labour and Social Justice and Employee Well-being. Students can also opt for elective courses in HR, Strategy, Economics and Information Systems.
The XLRI Jamshedpur first year of the HRM course will remain unchanged. The students will continue to learn core management subjects like Marketing, Operations, Finance, Strategy and Information Systems, along with HR topics like Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and Employee Relations.
According to Director Sebastian George, the aim is to develop HR professionals who possess a good understanding of business, along with in-depth knowledge of their chosen HR disciplines.
