XLRI’s Transformational Leadership Program

With this in mind, XLRI Jamshedpur provides the Senior Executive Development Program in Transformational Leadership for CXOs, which is the ninth batch since its introduction. Spanning eight months, the program helps senior executives develop their resilience, meaning and strategic capabilities. Featuring more than 300 executives with different backgrounds, it focuses on creating behavioural rather than skills-based changes.

Program Delivery and Content

The program combines live and interactive online classes with discussions of actual cases and peer interaction. One of its unique features is two-campus immersions at XLRI that last for three days each. The program structure is based on the following four pillars-

Mindfulness in Leadership: Cultivating awareness and incorporating mindfulness in decision-making processes.

Leadership of Self and Others: Developing emotional intelligence and effective influence.

Psychological Resilience: Developing abilities to handle stress, motivate oneself and be able to coach others.

Foundations of Ethics: Using ethical principles like Swadharma, Swabhava and Karma Yoga to foster purposeful leadership.

Participants partake in journal writings, assignments and collaborative activities to ensure application-oriented and internalised learning.

Program Leadership & Peer Group

The program is run by Prof. Manish Singhal, who boasts more than 18 years of experience at XLRI, coupled with diverse academic expertise. He specialises in integrating inner and outer dimensions of development into leadership practice.

Previous participants include founding entrepreneurs, CEOs, and high-level professionals from firms like Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, American Express, Reliance, EY, Maersk and the Indian Civil Services.

Program Duration- 8 months
Mode- Online live classes (every Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm IST)
Campus Experience- Two modules (three days each) on the XLRI Campus

Eligibility Criteria- Graduates with at least 15 years’ worth of experience in leading roles
