The following are some of the important details that can be found in the TISS Placement Report for 2026.
TISS MBA 2026 Batch Profile
Students from diverse backgrounds constituted the batch of TISS Mumbai MBA for 2026. Here is an overview of the batch profile -
Gender Distribution - The class of MBA for the year 2026 comprised mostly males with about 77% being male and the rest 23% being females.
Education - About 58% of the students were non-engineers while the rest 42% belonged to engineering streams. Out of these candidates nearly 19.5% were alumni from prestigious institutions such as DU, JNU, PU and Xavier's while 14% came from IITs, NITs and TISS. A few students comprising about 1.5% belonged to COEP and the rest came from other colleges.
Work Experience - A substantial percentage of the batch were freshers (about 58%) having no work experience while the rest had some years of experience before pursuing their MBA degree.
TISS 2026 Sector-Wise Placement Analysis
For the placements of TISS 2026 MBA batch there was significant demand from many different sectors. Among them, BFSI and NBFC were top among all sectors with a share of 20.6%. Consulting was the second-most preferred sector with 17.6% while FMCG, FMCD and manufacturing comprised the next sector with 14.7%.

The total number of companies that have recruited from TISS Mumbai during its placement process this year is 34 and out of these 11 companies are new to TISS MBA Campus Recruitment. Some of the big brands that recruit TISS MBA students are -
