For the admission cycle 2026, the institute has continued the use of the VIT Business Entrance Examination (VITBEE) that was introduced recently for the admission process. The candidates need to have a valid score in any one of the entrance examinations namely the Common Admission Test (CAT 2025), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2026) or the VITBEE for the admission to the VIT MBA program offered at the institute. The candidates also need to fulfill the eligibility criteria set for the admission process.
Important Dates for VIT MBA 2026 Admission
It is anticipated that the MBA program for the class of 2026 will begin in June 2026. The important dates for the admission process are mentioned below.
Criteria for VIT MBA 2026 Eligibility
Candidates who wish to apply to VIT University's MBA program must meet the following requirements -
A minimum of 60% in any undergraduate or integrated course of study from an accredited university, college or institution is required of the candidate.
The candidate should have a minimum of three years of bachelor’s degree after completing higher secondary (10+2) education in the +3, +4 or +5 pattern.
The candidate should also have a valid score in CAT, XAT, MAT or VITBEE.
The candidates who are in their final year of study and who will graduate in the year 2026 may also apply for the course provided their results are declared on or before 14 August 2026.
The SC/ST candidates and those belonging to the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura will get a 10% relaxation in the required undergraduate marks.

Click on the ‘Apply Now’ option available on the homepage of the VIT website.
Provide the required information on the VIT MBA 2026 application form.
Take and pass one of the entrance exams accepted by VIT like CAT, XAT, MAT or VITBEE 2026.
