Registration for NMAT 2025 has officially begun through the Graduate Management Admission Council or GMAC. During a testing window the NMAT exam is given three times. Applicants can attempt the first and if necessary register for up to two retakes with at least a gap of 15 days between attempts.
The URL to fill out the NMAT 2025 application form is available on the official website mba.com. The last date for NMAT by GMAC application is October 10, 2025.
There are over 50 colleges in India which consider NMAT scores and include popular names like NMIMS, TAPMI, SPJIMR, K J Somaiya Institute of Management etc. Registration comprises making GMAC account, filling the application form choosing schools for sending score to and paying the application fee uploading documents (if required) by candidates. Those with a bachelor’s degree may apply.

How to Register for NMAT by GMAC?
Registration for NMAT is simple and speedy. Just follow these steps:
Create Your Account
Visit mba.com/nmat and click Create your NMAT Account.
Use a valid email address.
Enter your details in the Manage NMAT Profile.
Check Your Email
To find the verification email check your spam and inbox.
To validate your account stick to the guidelines.
Click Resend Email Verification on the NMAT site if you don't receive the email.
Complete Your Profile and Application
Click the Candidate Dashboard after logging onto the NMAT Dashboard.
Fill out the application.
Make sure your name and birthdate match those on your picture ID.
To transmit your scores for free select up to five institutions. Additional schools are ₹400 plus taxes per school.
Upload a fresh photograph taken in the last 6 months.

How do candidates book their NMAT Exam 2025?
After payment go to your dashboard and select Book Exam Slot.
Click Submit after choosing At Test Centre as your mode.
Choose your nation, city, test location, time and date.
Get your admission card by downloading it from the Dashboard. seven days before your test.
NMAT Exam 2025 Retake Policy
Students may attempt NMAT a maximum of 3 times in a testing cycle between July 1 - June 30.
This is the first attempt + 2 retakes.
The students can book a retake after submitting the retake fee.
If the students possess a valid NMAT score their subsequent attempt will have to be a minimum of 15 days apart.
If the students result is No Show, NDA Refused or Exam Incomplete they can book again after 24 hours.
Note: NMAT registration and Business school applications are different. As always, check with the college’s official website regarding eligibility requirements and deadlines.
NMAT 2025 Registration Photo Upload Regulations
When completing the NMAT 2025 application students are required to upload a recent photograph. If not in accordance with these guidelines their application could be rejected.
Recent Photo - Taken in the previous six months.
Formats include PNG, JPG and JPEG.
Orientation - Only vertical portrait photos.
Background - White or light-colored background.
Other Important Guidelines
Your eyes should be open and easily visible.
The photo must be taken facing the front with your face centred.
Shoulders should also be seen.
Black background photos will be refused.
Ensure the photo is clear to enable staff to identify you.

NMAT 2025 Registration For Individuals With Disabilities
If the candidate is disabled and requires special assistance for the NMAT test they can seek accommodations through registration. GMAC will process their request and make appropriate arrangements if granted.

How to Make Accommodation Requests?
Step 1: At the Time of Registration
Click "Yes" under "Are you Differently Abled?"
Choose disability type and support needed.
Write short explanation max 250 words.
Step 2: Upload Documents
Reader/scribe/PCA consent forms and agreement if necessary.
Medical proof of disability
You can upload documents again and again but try to do all at once.
Step 3: GMAC Review
Your registration will be held in place for about 15 days while GMAC reviews your request.
You will get an e-mail with one of the following statuses:
Approved - Pay fee and schedule an exam slot at a test centre of your choice.
Not Approved - Schedule a regular exam slot. Reasons will be given.
More Information Needed - GMAC will tell you what more documents to give.
Important Guidelines
Make requests for accommodation prior to the close of the registration period.
Your request will be denied without valid documentation.
Only approved assistants like a reader, scribe or PCA with photo identification will be permitted inside the test room.
Fraudulent documentation will result in cancellation, loss of fee and potential legal proceedings.
Registration confirmation and payment will be emailed to confirm your email ID.
