MBA Colleges like NMIMS use NMAT scores to determine their own NMAT cutoff scores for each admission cycle. The NMAT exam cutoff is the minimum score a candidate must get to be considered for the next round of the selection process. Some colleges post their cutoffs online while others do not. Each institute decides its cutoff after considering factors like 

  • NMAT Number of applicants

  • Number of candidates who qualify

  • Exam Difficulty

  • Total number of seats available

  • Previous year’s admission trends

Applicants who score above the cutoff get selected for the subsequent rounds of the admission process such as GD, PI or WAT.

Important Things to Know Regarding NMAT Cutoff 2026

  1. Each participating institute sets its own cutoff level.

  2. The cutoff is the minimum NMAT qualifying score required to move to the selection round.

  3. Some colleges have different cutoffs for different MBA or PGDM programs.

  4. Cutoffs may be announced as scores or percentiles depending on the institute.

NMAT 2026 Expected Cut off for NMIMS MBA Colleges

Based on past year statistics, the expected NMIMS MBA cutoff 2026 for most MBA courses at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management will remain more or less similar to that of last year. The expected cut-off marks for prestigious MBA programs offered by all major NMIMS campuses in Mumbai, Bangalore, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad and Indore would be 60 marks in each sections namely Language Skills (LS), Logical Reasoning (LR) and Quantitative Skills (QS) making the total expected cut-off score 209 marks.

For special programs like MBA in Business Analytics, MBA in Human Resource Management and MBA in Digital Transformation the expected cutoff score will again be 209 with NMAT sectional cutoffs of 60 in each section.

However, the expected cutoff for the MBA in Pharmaceutical Management will be a bit lower cutoff than that of other courses. For students opting for the course, the expected cut-off for the LR and QS sections will be 55 marks each whereas for the LS section it will be 60 marks making the total overall cut-off 190 marks.

In general, candidates who wish to secure MBA admission to the NMIMS 2026 must achieve an NMAT percentile greater than 209.
