Registration for the September session of 2025 MAT was closed long ago and even both PBT and CBT mode MAT exams for the September session have been conducted. Results are now awaited for the September CBT mode. The registrations for the 2025 December session are now out for both modes. The PBT registration ends on 7 December and CBT on 15 December. AIMA has released the official dates for December session on its website
The MAT exam fee is ₹2200 for one session. If you wish to appear in both PBT and CBT the fee is ₹3800. Candidates who want to attempt the exam in more than one session must register and pay separately
MAT 2025 Registration Process
The MAT exam is held several times in a year. Depending on their convenience candidates can select the exam phase, session and manner of appearance. They can even appear in more than one session in the same year. All sessions have the same application procedure and costs.

Ways to register for MAT 2025
- Move to the AIMA MAT official website and click on the option for registration. 
- Enter your email address, name, cell number, state and city and also set a password of your choice. Confirm the details entered and then submit. 
- On the candidates cell number an OTP will be sent. 
- Confirm your mobile number using the OTP to finalise registration. 
- Use the login details that will be made available to your registered email to log in and access the form. 
- Append your signature and recent passport-sized photograph. 
- Select up to five MBA colleges from the list. To select more than five you will need to make an extra payment. 
- Use online banking, debit or credit card to make the payment of the ₹2200 MAT exam fee online. 
- Fill in your academic records, personal details and address. 
- Tick the declaration checkbox and then submit the MAT form.

All exam modes have the same fee which is to be paid online via credit card, debit card, net banking or mobile wallet. The payment is non-refundable and is per session.

Keep the following documents ready before filling out the 2025 MAT form-
- Marksheet of Graduation 
- Marksheet Class 12 
- Marksheet Class 10 
- Date of birth certificate 
- Photo ID proof 
- Passport-size photo and scanned signature 
- Debit/credit card or internet banking details for fee payment 
Things to Keep in Mind for MAT 2025 Registration
- Fill the form carefully. After submission there is no way to make changes. 
- Details entered will be used in the admission process so ensure they match your government-issued IDs. 
- Check the eligibility criteria before applying as ineligible applications will be rejected 
- The exam fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. 
- For multiple sessions in different phases separate forms and fees must be submitted. 
- If you want to combine two sessions in the same phase you can do so by paying an additional ₹1600. 
Mistakes to Avoid in the MAT Application Form
- Do not make spelling errors in your name. It must match your Class 10 certificate or birth certificate. 
- Choose your exam city and slot carefully as changes cannot be made later. 
- Confirm your fee payment status. Without successful payment your form will not be submitted. 
- Ensure your email, cell number and address are active since AIMA will send all updates there. 
- Upload photo and signature in the correct size and format to avoid rejection. 
How Can I Get My MAT Login Password Back?
If you forget your MAT password for the registration process-
- Click on ‘Forgot Password?’ on the MAT login page. 
- Fill in your cell number, email, DOB and other details as may be required. 
- Authorities will send the link to the email ID that you have registered. Reset your password with it to get back in.
