Admission will be based on a General Aptitude Test. It is a two-year master’s program spread across four semesters.
As per university authorities, the program will be conducted by the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Candidates with degrees like BPharm, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, BTech (Chemical Engineering), BSc (Chemistry) or MSc can apply. A minimum of 50 per cent marks is required for General category students and 45 per cent for SC or ST candidates.
The program curriculum includes industry-focused subjects such as Pharmaceutical Product Development, Pharmaceutical Brand Management, Pharmaceutical International Business and Biomedical Devices.
University of Lucknow spokesperson Mukul Srivastava said that an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management connects healthcare science with business. He added that after completing the course, graduates gain the commercial skills needed to work in the growing pharma and biotech industries.
