The MoU was signed on the occasion of the 90th Foundation Day celebration of IOB. Apart from that, the bank also announced the launch of a new centre of excellence for training and capacity building.

As a result of this partnership, it is anticipated that IIMK’s Kochi Campus and IOB’s staff college, along with the new CoE, will come together to create learning initiatives to have a significant impact. These initiatives will be designed particularly to address the IOB’s highest management and officers. It will support their long-term vision to emerge as a leading bank based on sound banking principles.

This association will not only help IOB cope with the ever-changing environment but will also ensure long-term and sustainable growth. Accordingly, two organisations will work jointly to formulate programs that are congruent with IOB’s strategic objectives by utilising IIMK’s know-how on various aspects of management.

Under this pact, IIMK’s Kochi campus and IOB will jointly develop programs which align with the key focus areas of IOB’s staff training college and Centre of Excellence, according to a press release.
