IIM Jammu–AIT Sign MoU, Launch Dual MBA Program

IIM Jammu and the Asian Institute of Technology have further enhanced their international collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding on 13th February 2026. They have also launched a Dual Degree MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics on 12th February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, during the Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026. The conclave is the first national meet on AI in education and is an initiative of the IIT Madras Bodhan AI Foundation.

IIM Jammu–AIT Sign MoU, Launch Dual MBA Program

The event was inaugurated by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the presence of Ministers of State Sukanta Majumdar and Jayant Chaudhary, along with senior government officials and V. Kamakoti. From IIM Jammu, Director B. S. Sahay and other senior academics were present at the event.

The MoU was signed by Prof. B. S. Sahay and AIT President Pai-Chi Li. Representatives from both institutions were present online at the event, marking their commitment to this international collaboration.

The agreement provides a wide framework for cooperation. This includes faculty, student and staff exchanges; the dual degree MBA and doctoral programs; joint certification courses; collaborative research in management, technology and sustainability and joint conferences, seminars, summer programs and study tours.

The Dual Degree MBA program leverages the management acumen of IIM Jammu and the technological and innovative strengths of AIT. With the signing of this agreement and the launch of this new program, IIM Jammu hopes to increase its global academic connections, foster innovation and cultivate leaders for sustainable growth.
