IIM Indore & TimesPro Open Applications for 17th Project Management Batch

The Indian Institute of Management Indore, in association with TimesPro, is now accepting applications for the 17th batch of their Certificate Program in Project Management. This is a six-month LIVE online course, and the aim is to assist professionals in managing projects efficiently in every stage, from the beginning and planning to the execution, monitoring, evaluation, and closing of the projects.

The course will assist participants in grasping the process, governance and evaluation mechanisms in projects. It will also assist participants in developing their leadership skills by coordinating with the team.

Participants can learn about Work Breakdown Structures, Critical Path Method, PERT, risk analysis, Agile methodology, and MS Project tools, among others. This will assist professionals in managing their projects efficiently in any industry or work environment.

According to PMI, the world is likely to face a shortage of up to 30 million project management professionals by the year 2035. On the other hand, the requirement for project management professionals is set to grow by 64% between 2025 and 2035 due to increased capital investments and changes in the industry.

According to NASSCOM, the number of project management professionals is set to grow by 33% by the year 2027, which will generate about 21.7 million job opportunities.

These opportunities in the industry provide career growth prospects for professionals in the long term. Professionals who gain expertise in various fields of project management and adapt to the ever-changing digital revolution can build a great career path.

Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director at IIM Indore, said the 17th batch of the Certificate Program in Project Management equips professionals in handling complex projects with strategic clarity and results in terms of managing projects in the right manner. Sridhar Nagarajachar, Business Head – Executive Education at TimesPro, said the program has the right mix of tools and immersive learning through IIM Indore’s academic rigor and enables professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The program has had previous batches consisting of managers, engineers, architects, VPs, and other specialists from the IT industry, BFSI sector, pharmaceutical industry, construction industry, energy sector and many more.

The program has 17 modules on project processes, integration management, scheduling management, cost management, quality management, resource management and risk management. The sessions are conducted through LIVE online sessions by faculty and industry experts through the Direct-to-Device (D2D) technology by TimesPro and other tools such as case studies, assignments, projects, tests and a three-day campus immersion program.

The eligibility criterion demands a Diploma, Graduation, or Post-Graduation from a recognised university with at least 50% marks and two years of relevant full-time experience.

In addition, participants will be offered a complimentary Certificate in GenAI for Managers covering topics such as "Large Language Models," "AI Tools" and "Business Applications."

Upon completion of this executive education program, participants will attain the status of IIM Indore’s Executive Education Alumni, which adds credibility for them globally.
