The program is designed to prepare students for the changing business world driven by technology startups and digital transformation. It focuses on combining academic learning with practical real-world application to build strong management and entrepreneurial skills.
Earlier batches have seen strong participation with over 2000 students from more than 400 cities across India enrolling in the program. Students from Tier 3 cities form a significant share and the age group ranges from 17 to 50 years making it a diverse learning platform for both fresh students and working professionals.
The curriculum includes key areas such as digital marketing, big data analytics, UI or UX design and emerging business models. A strong emphasis is placed on learning by doing through case studies, live projects and venture-building activities like the ₹250 venture which helps students understand entrepreneurship in practice.
Despite being an online program, IIM Bangalore offers interactive learning through peer groups, community activities, city meet-ups and industry sessions. Students also get exposure to startup founders and professionals from leading companies enhancing their practical business understanding.
