IIM Ahmedabad Opens Admissions for 8-Month Executive Healthcare Services Management Program

An Executive Program in Healthcare Services Management (EPHSM) for working professionals has been introduced by the IIM Ahmedabad. Interested candidates have until 13 May to apply for the 8-month executive program at IIM Ahmedabad via the official website.

The healthcare services program is meant for administrators and professionals working in both public and private sectors. It seeks to provide participants with the knowledge and abilities needed to provide excellent, effective and sustainable healthcare services. 

The program uses a hybrid learning method that combines campus immersion modules in the management institute with live online sessions.

The weekly online sessions for the executive program at IIM Ahmedabad will begin on May 28. Throughout the course of the program candidates must participate in planned campus modules in addition to online live lectures every Saturday.

IIM Ahmedabad launches the executive program in healthcare services with Jaro Education as a marketing partner.

EPHSM Program 2026 at IIM Ahmedabad - Eligibility and fees

The eligibility requirements include that applicants must have at least three years of professional experience in the healthcare industry.

Additionally, both medical and non-medical workers including administrators, consultants, healthcare professionals and potential newcomers to the healthcare industry are welcome to apply for the management course.

The course price for the eight-month EPHSM program is Rs 3.90 lakh + GST. According to an official announcement from IIM Ahmedabad qualified individuals may register for the healthcare management course by paying the required cost of Rs 2000 + GST.

The course curriculum includes key areas such as healthcare operations, finance, marketing, strategy and data analytics. Training in cutting-edge technology such as digital health systems, telemedicine and artificial intelligence will be provided to participants.

Additionally, IIMA experts and business professionals will provide them with case-based teaching.

Those who complete the IIMA healthcare management curriculum will be able to coordinate strategy, operations and technology to provide patient-centric care while also increasing efficiency and outcomes. 

The institute said the program focuses on practical learning allowing participants to apply concepts at work and improve healthcare services. It added that with initiatives like Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and a rising focus on patient-centred care. Healthcare organisations need leaders who can manage operations, strategy and innovation effectively.
