IIM Ahmedabad Launches Krishnamurthy Tandon School of AI

IIM Ahmedabad has launched Krishnamurthy Tandon School of AI on its campus today. The purpose of the Artificial Intelligence School is to convert advances in AI into useful tools. Additionally, it will facilitate improved decision-making, boost output and tackle difficult issues in business, government and society.

IIM Ahmedabad Launches Krishnamurthy Tandon School of AI

Chandrika Krishnamurthy Tandon a graduate of IIMAs PGP Class of 1975 and her husband Ranjan Tandon donated a hundred crore to establish the new Al school at IIM Ahmedabad.

According to an official announcement, the Krishnamurthy Tandon School of Artificial Intelligence will be a top-tier platform for utilising Artificial Intelligences potential in conjunction with IIMAs management experience to benefit business and society.

IIM Ahmedabad Launches AI School to Boost Decision-Making

According to the statement the Al school will function at the intersection of technology management and public effect with an emphasis on how AI is comprehended, adopted, regulated and integrated into organisations and public institutions.

According to the management institute, it would also assist in connecting AI research with managerial, institutional and societal issues and aims to produce knowledge that is grounded in Indian contexts and institutions and globally applicable.

According to IIM Ahmedabad, the AI school has also conducted translational research, education and engagement. It will also develop leaders who may negotiate the complexity of the ever-changing business landscape by combining technical knowledge with management judgement and social responsibility.

IIMA director Bharat Bhasker stated, Through education, innovation, research and industry partnerships, the Krishnamurthy Tandon School of Artificial Intelligence at IIMA is a timely and forward-thinking initiative that will close the gap between quickly developing AI technology and its successful integration into organisations to improve leadership, decision-making and productivity.

Participating in the inauguration ceremony of the Krishnamurthy Tandon School of Al at IIM Ahmedabad were Chandrika Tandon a business leader, humanitarian, Grammy-winning musician and graduate of IIMAs PGP Class of 1975 Pankaj Patel, chairperson of the IIMA board of governors Bharat Bhasker, director of IIMA and Ramesh Mangaleswaran founding member of the IIMA Endowment Fund.
