IIM Ahmedabad Launches First MBA Batch of Business Analytics and AI

The maiden batch of the IIM Ahmedabad two-year Blended MBA Program in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (BPGP-BA & AI) includes seventy-one professionals. The class has seven years and four months of work experience on average.

There are 55 (77 per cent) men and 16 (23 per cent) females in the BPGP- BA & AI 2026-2028 cohort. The students have experience across industries including IT, BFSI, Consulting, Biotech and Healthcare, Retail and e-commerce, Academic and Education, Aerospace and Aviation, Energy and Utilities, Transportation and Logistics etc.

Professor Anindya Chakrabarti and chairperson of BPGP-BA & AI stated that it illustrates how business practices are changing and how using AI and business analytics is now necessary rather than optional.
