The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, introduced the Blended Post Graduate Program in Management, popularly known as the BPGP, in 2024, in an effort to meet the requirements of the current corporate world, where individuals look for flexible and technological forms of management program education. The two-year program, namely the MBA-BPGP, will enable individuals to work on their managerial skills and help them boost their professional career without leaving their current jobs.

IIM Ahmedabad BPGP Admissions 2026–28 Open | Blended MBA for Working Professionals

According to Professor Bharat Bhasker, Director of IIMA, the program reflects IIMA’s focus on future-ready education. It combines academic rigour with flexibility through live online classes and on-campus immersions, supported by IIMA’s strong infrastructure, faculty and network.

The program has already enrolled two batches and applications for the third batch (2026-2028) have been announced. They are welcoming applications from professionals who have had significant career progress and the ability to manage their work and educational responsibilities.

The BPGP curriculum integrates theory with application through IIMA’s case-based learning methodology, classroom instruction, projects, simulations and learning from peers. The program consists of 80% remote delivery and the remaining 20% on-campus modules, with the support of VCnow in the remote learning process. The participants will also get the benefit of the academic and research environment of IIMA.

Admissions

Admission to the program is as per the stringent evaluation criteria of IIMA. Candidates are selected on the basis of their educational qualification, quality of work experience, purpose, and performance in the mandatory aptitude test. Along with these, they are also evaluated on their Preparedness for the programme, fit into its expectations, as well as suitability to contribute to the learning experience of others. This makes sure that each person selected for participation is adding to the group learning atmosphere, which is distinct about IIMA’s pedagogy.
